What are emergency and crisis management?<\/h2>

Emergency and crisis management prepare organisations to manage exceptional events in a structured manner. This includes clear responsibilities, defined reporting and escalation channels, practical emergency plans, and a crisis management team that remains capable of acting and making decisions under time pressure.<\/p>

Emergency management primarily focuses on events for which specific procedures and measures can be prepared. Examples include power or IT outages, damage to buildings and the loss of important resources.
