How did you come to found 3-core GmbH?
Before founding the company, I spent several years working on various projects in the field of business resilience – always with the goal of reducing risks for organisations or enabling them to respond to and manage crises or emergencies at short notice. During that time, I noticed that companies often assess their risk exposure too positively. As a result, crises and emergencies occur that can only be resolved by deploying immense resources.
In this specific area, there was a lack of an independent and modern management consultancy that approaches the topic with contemporary, holistic methods in the best interest of organisations. The vision behind building 3-core was to establish exactly such a consultancy. Today, I am pleased to work in a modern, agile team in which specialists from engineering, marketing, business, design, politics, and classic risk and crisis management collaborate – continuously developing creative solutions.
What do you value about your work?
Every day is different: both for our customers and for us, new challenges arise every day, and we enjoy tackling them. My range of responsibilities is diverse and spans from ideation and strategic planning through to practical implementation—for example, developing and putting concepts into practice. I particularly enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and across industries, as I can learn something new every day while also contributing ideas and impulses.
Carolin Maria Stellmacher

Carolin Maria Stellmacher joined 3-core GmbH shortly after its founding and has been instrumental in its development. Since then, she has been responsible for the planning, implementation, release and quality assurance of our projects as a project manager and the account manager for our customers.
Stellmacher acquired the foundations of her current job during her studies in Risk & Safety Management at the HfÖV in Bremen as well as during her Master’s degree in International Marketing in England. Since 2014, she has been advising DAX and MDAX companies in the area of business resilience and works as a lecturer at the HfÖV University of Applied Sciences in Bremen.

What led you to 3-core GmbH?
After completing my bachelor’s degree in Risk & Security Management, I worked for several years at a management consultancy and was able to learn about different organisations and their challenges in business resilience topics. During that time, I particularly noticed that these topics can be quite difficult to embed sustainably in corporate strategy. This insight led me to pursue a master’s degree in England, focusing on risk awareness and positioning security as a business enabler for business development.
After returning to Germany, I met the founder of 3-core GmbH. At the time, 3-core GmbH was still in its early stages, and I decided to join the journey and help grow the start-up together with the founder – with all the new challenges that came with it. 3-core GmbH enables me to take responsibility for projects, develop solutions through close teamwork, and successfully deliver projects together with our clients.
What do you especially like about project management?
Every project unfolds differently. Our customers span a wide range of industries, such as energy, chemicals, retail, banking, and construction. That is exactly what I like – every project is unique and enriching through new experiences and insights. I always enjoy initiating projects, building greater resilience within organisations, and developing concepts tailored to each customer. In every project, I stay in close contact with our clients – because that is the only way we can work together professionally, trustfully, and transparently.
Our projects demonstrate how corporate resilience management delivers impact in practice – from analysis and strategic direction through to implementation within organisations. Take a look at our projects to get a sense of our expertise, our approach, and the results we achieve together with clients across industries.
