Creation and realisation of BCM exercises

Background

Our client was planning an exercise to evaluate and improve its business continuity management system. This exercise was to consist of two sub-exercises: a staff exercise and an alerting exercise. Both exercises were to be prepared, conducted and then analysed.

Solution

In consultation with the customer, a common theoretical basis for the exercises was first created. Through extensive research, we were able to create a suitable exercise scenario that would strengthen the confidence of the employees in real-life practice.

We then moderated and conducted both exercises on site and evaluated the results. Upon completion, 3-Core produced a detailed report containing lessons learned, optimisation opportunities and recommendations for the entire system.
