We advise clients worldwide on Business Continuity Management, Emergency and Crisis Management, and Security Management, and we support organisations with the implementation of regulatory KRITIS requirements and the NIS2 Directive.

Your Responsibilities in Consulting - Student Practical Semester in BCM & Emergency and Crisis Management

Our team brings together experts from a wide range of disciplines, giving you the opportunity to develop your existing skills and experience further while contributing your knowledge during your Student Practical Semester in BCM Business Continuity Management.

You will be encouraged to think beyond your own perspective and develop practical, creative solutions – hands-on and, where appropriate, truly “outside the box”. You will also support all aspects of our project work and independently prepare analyses and presentations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing innovative solutions in Business Continuity Management, Information Security (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS), and Crisis Management
  • Supporting the planning, delivery, and follow-up of tabletop exercises and simulations
  • Assisting our clients with technical queries, conducting risk assessments, and selecting appropriate security controls
  • Contributing to the on-time, high-quality delivery of consulting projects

Your Qualifications and Experience – Student Practical Semester in BCM

  • Degree studies with a focus on security engineering, information security, risk management, or business/management
  • Solid foundational knowledge in Business Continuity Management (BCM), ISMS, and BSI IT-Grundschutz
  • Initial experience or understanding of Emergency and Crisis Management, NIS2 and/or KRITIS requirements
  • High motivation and genuine enjoyment of client-facing work
  • An efficient, structured, proactive, and highly detail-oriented working style
  • Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)

  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
